Sydney to Cairns Flexi Tour 18days

Found this great Sydney to Cairns tour deal on this website. Just brilliant. My partner and I just loved the people there. The bus was super comfortable. The tour started with some surfing lessons and off to Byron Bay. We were hopeless but no one seemed to care, Lots of laughs. Hostel accommodation quite good and again the people were friendly and helpful especially Jono. Off we went to Surfers Paradise. Hot weather and lots of people. More like a city but nightlife is great. Accommodation here is pretty good. Next stop Hervey Bay. Very different to Surfers Paradise but we needed a rest. Apparently you can see whales from here but we missed out on that. Maybe it was not the season for whales. On the boat/barge to Fraser island. We chose to stay in the Lodge. Very plush for an island stay. Loved the pool area. Driving around on all sand roads here is incredible. Back on the tour bus to Airlie Beach, this was a long drive (for the bus driver that is). We done the 2 days Sailing and 2 days stay at Airlie Beach. Sailing here is fantastic. So many islands, so many beaches. I recommend the kayak paddle here. Off to Cairns. Our dream was to visit the Great Barrier Reef one day and here we were. Cairns accommodation good, very relaxed here. Quite humid. We just went on the full day cruise to the reef. Weather excellent, Reef just brilliant. We are not divers though but we saw plenty of fish and coral. We think Cairns was overall the best. Toured north into the rainforest to stay overnight. Saw real crocodiles. And more perfect beaches. Last night in Cairns. My favourite. Flew back to Sydney then home to recover.
