Noosa Golf Tour 3 Night Package
Submitted by:
My first time to Queensland due to a turn of the decade birthday and a huge love of golf. I have always been a big fan of the King of Coolum, 3 time Champion Peter Lonard so Vicky secretly organized this Noosa Golf Tour 3 night package. I was able to worship the ground Pete had walked and played on at the Coolum Hyatt Regency Golf Club. My Standard was not up to Pete's but Vicky and I lapped up the professional course with Mt. Coolum in the background. Twin Waters Golf Course was very relaxed lush and love those melaleucas. Plenty of unphased kangaroos, birdlife and afterwards we sat to enjoy a drink on the balcony overlooking the driving range where all golf balls are hit into a lake. This course suited Vicky's handicap. Noosa Springs again was a hit with the manicured course and all the tropicals. The day was interrupted with some rain but we managed to complete all 18 holes. We were accommodated on the Noosa River with a comfortable self contained unit. This suited us when we were golfed out and just wanted a swim in the pool or a lazy night. Noosa River Village Resort was very suitable to Vicky and I for a late night stroll or a game of tennis when not golfing. Did not get to see as much of Noosa as would like due to all our daytime activities but will be returning real soon and hope to see a lot more of the Sunshine Coast. Highly recommended.
