Great Barrier Reef Cruise to Reefworld

Damien and I were so excited about this Great Barrier Reef Cruise, but the weather looked threatening. It had been raining heavily the day before but when we woke up on the morning of our cruise we were greeted to bright sunny skies and a very warm day. Lucky us. We were picked up by bus from Airlie Beach and taken to the cruise boat. And what a boat. Plenty of room onboard, great food, and a fast and scenic trip to Reefworld. Reefworld is a great place to see what the Great Barrier Reef has to offer. Because Damien and I don't know how to scuba dive we did the snorkeling thing. Reefworld has a great setup to do this. I didn't want to get out. Plenty of fish and plenty of beautiful corals. Lunch here was great, like a buffet style. Back in the water we both went to see more. I even had time to get a little sun tan on the deck chairs waiting for the cruise ride back. Damien reckons the best part was being so close to the hundreds of little fish. I would love to do more snorkeling here again next year.
